BIG GIVE CHRISTMAS CHALLENGE 2025
AzuKo is taking part in the Big Give Christmas Challenge; the UK’s largest match funding campaign, which doubles donations over seven days (2nd - 9th Dec 2025). We’re raising money to support women and their families build safe, climate-resilient homes.
In Bangladesh, 3 in 5 people live in fragile, makeshift homes — without essentials like decent toilets, clean water or safe cooking fuel. Urgent action is needed.
Women are on the frontline of a growing crisis in rural Bangladesh. Poverty, inequality, and climate change collide — leaving families in unsafe homes and without basic services. With men often working away, women are left to manage and maintain homes alone, with little support. As floods, storms, and heatwaves intensify, they face repeated loss and hardship. Too many are trapped in a cycle of damage and repair, without the means to build safe, secure shelter.
We’re aiming to raise £25,000 to support women and their families to build safer, stronger homes and drive lasting change in their communities.
With your help we will provide construction training, housing advice and access to housing finance. We will design and build better homes, promote housing maintenance, and advocate for housing justice.
