Take Sumi Roy, a mother of two from a rural village in Bangladesh. Until recently, Sumi cooked outdoors in unsafe conditions. With AzuKo’s support, her family co-designed and built a kitchen of their own. It was a small change that made a big difference, giving her safety, dignity, and the chance to dream bigger for her daughters.
“Before, we only had an open space for cooking. Now, with the kitchen we built, I can prepare food safely for my family. There’s still a lot to do, but this is a huge step forward for us.”
