Using human centred design to understand the use of safe spaces during a disaster

  • Community: Patuakhali district, Bangladesh

  • Clients: The World Bank and LGED

AzuKo’s experience of architecture from a human-centered perspective combined with their extensive experience in Bangladesh meant that we were delivered a report which exceeded expectations - detailing not only technical aspects, relevant to local building codes and standards, but giving a broad understanding of some of the social issues around how the buildings were being used.
