How can improved construction techniques reduce vulnerability of the extreme poor?
With 31.5% of Bangladesh’ population living below the poverty line it is vital to consider the cost of materials and their life cycle. Together we tested ideas around materiality, space efficiency and modest improvements to construction.
Improving shelter construction techniques based on existing practices encourages self-reliance rather than dependence on aid.
